Saw this car in the flesh tonight. Looks nice, will be even better once the paint is sorted :P

Can you find me that headlight knob and check out what the back springs are you have?

Thanks again Simon.

Time for an update....

Have all my bits and pieces together, turbo is sitting on the engine for the pipework to be made up, intercooler is mounted and the haltech is half wired up.

Aiming to have the car running in the next few weeks....its getting closer! I haven't had enough time to spend on it so far..have just arrived back from Victoria and spent last weekend putting an engine in a commodore

Nice build you have going ther bud! Well done. Any chance of a close-up of the brackets you made for the intercooler and how you mounted them to the radiator support panel?

I reccon I could manage a few piccies in the next day or so, I'm going to need to trim about an inch and a half off the front bar to make it clear....it is as far back as I can get it.

Thanks mate, i appreciate it!

I have the same problem, i have to trim a little away from the inside of the main air duct and the lowest part of the bumper closest to the road too, i want to hang the cooler so the bottom of the inlets are showing slightly underneath, to give that 'it's so big it won't fit' look haha.

I have made some good progress on the car over the weekend.

Engine went back in today, fixed up a heap of engine bay wiring, dash is now out, pedal box is now out.

The engine went into the car with pretty much everything bolted to it....gee manual bellhousings make things so much easier!

Taking the pedal box up to XR-Lanes in the next day or so for him to modify for the manual.

Heres some piccies!

Have been meaning to update this thread for over a month now!

Car made 247kw at the rears on the 5/5/09 and the SA Fordmods/ACF dyno day.

This was using a stock EL AUTO!!!!! ecu,12:1 FMU with a bosch 044.

I'm in the process of getting rid of another car and buying a BA, so when the BA arrives, this car will be back off the road for some more work to be performed! *cough* Haltech
