Figured I'd throw a build thread up of my Fairlane since things have begun to spiral into all kinds of awesome. I bought the car in June after my AU XR8 was written off, and pledged there would be no mods. That lasted 5 days before I bought the first of many Momo wheels. Anyway, here is the 'Lane as purchased:

I then purchased these:

Drove the car for a while, then got asked to do my cousin's formal. Insert operation Fitment:

These were 18x8.5 -4 and 18x10 -12 ABC Exclusive Glanzens.

Unfortunately the wheels had to be returned to the rightful owner, and about 2 months ago, I picked up an extremely cheap RBS EL GT Brake upgrade.... Insert E Series that stops!

Now that braking is done, it's time to make Slowlane not so slow! Insert 6Boost manifold and Turbosmart Progate 50!

That's it so far!

I have plans for bigger and better anyway! I'm not a fan of the chrome centre on the ABC's anyway. Next wheels will be running similar, if not better fitment!

what offset did those have?

18x8.5 -4 front, 18x10 -12 rear. I'm looking at 9.5 -7 front and 11 -0 rears.

Massive fight with my insurance company led to me getting payed out, retaining the car complete with Rego, still insured and NOT listed on the WOV register. WINNING! I'm now hunting a rear bar and tail light, then it's off to Trade Street Smash for some repairs.

It's a rear quarter repair, new tail light and a rear bar. A nothing job, but insurance had a case of CBF.

Yea, that's me on Facebook!

There are a handful of Fairlane's with boost, None as spastic as I plan for this to be!
