Very minor update guys, finished bogging and primered the front door corners!!! :D :D

I'll be getting a pressure pack can of white from Autobarn tomorrow and hitting up all the primered spots, hopefully on sunday all things going to plan.
I'll also hopefully be getting just a new rear muffler tomorrow (full system later on, due to costs) and again, hopefully fit it up on sunday :)

Also, I've decided i'll be spraying the rocker cover white with either sanding or hand painting the raised sections. If I hand paint, it'll be black to contrast to the white.
While i'm in the engine bay, i'll also spray the coolant reservoir and wiper bottle white as well :)

Cheers,
Spud.

UPDATE TIME! :D

lined up some parts last night so sat night i'll be painting those dirty grey primer spots and sunday i'll be fitting my new muffler, removing rear resonator and replacing the pipe with 2.5" for a slightly more throaty note, fitting new door locks, ignition barrel, and boot lock so all are the same, and fitting the LH rear window motor :D

big weekend ahead!!

i'll let you all know the outcome after the weekend, with plenty of pics of course!

cheers,
spud.

yeah that's the plan misk - I read somewhere that falcon springs fit and it's common for LWB owners to slam em in cos they'll sit lower than the Fairlane/LTD SL's that are available from Kingsprings.

cheers for the positive feedback guys!

Also, I've set myself a goal to have this all finished by the end of the year, including a full respray.
I want to keep it relativly standard, but classy at the same time so I was thinking of a two tone job like on the Sportsmans (Charcoal gray lower section) -- Opinions?? Or, is anyone able to photoshop that for me? :D :D

cheers,
spud.

I'll have a go at the 2 tone chop tonight.
Would look pretty good I reckon, my pop had a 2 tone DA that was light green metallic over silver, low as all hell, gold simmons 17's, sunroof & dark window tint and it looked s**t.

Yeah i like the two-tone i had a ZL Fairlane Sportsman it was Monza red over Thunder grey very eighties but it stood out - so many lanes are white (no offence dude alLWB's are ace by me) so this might be nice too! i bought it for $650 tidied it a bit drove it for 4 years and sold it for $1000

Think I agree with you, misk.
The grey lower would work better with colour than white though.

i think it would look shmick with some EF/EL white mirrors and color coded EA-ED door handles with the chrome strip.
but i have a very simple taste when it comes to falcons, i love the shape and im pretty easily pleased haha

at least there is a few options to take and the car looks to be in decent shape body wise, will be good to see the outcome
