Haha what's wrong with the altezza's? they make it look unique i reckon and also suits the style and colour of the car

yeah the whole car is kind of unique, but if it was mine i would try and find the darker style altezza's or try and tint yours with night shades..

My uncle has the dark altezza's on his AU III XR6, we swapped them for the sake of curiosity, i didn't like them they looked too try hard like i was trying to murder it out, i like the clears i'm thinking about getting it all resprayed when i get it repaired i'm thinking either phantom or sillouhette?

still havent got the car fixed damn turning 18 and having a social life  but now there is a bigger decision coming up do i want to buy a new car or do i ant to keep my AU and mod it out further if i do decide to keep it, the interior will be stripped and replaced all black and red leather and a VCT engine backed up by a T56 and possibly replace the current front end ( i know you all hate it lol) with a T3 TS50 front :D i welcome any and all opinions on what i should do with it

why on earth would you spend a few thou on a T56 conversion?

maybe start doing some power mods first like headwork, cam, tune etc..... maybe even some shorter diff gears

could see what i could get away with, yeah T5 would be cool just having the extra gear and saying i have a 6spd AU is rather cool cause how many do you see getting around, i just want to make my car a one off that no one else has seen or done before,

IMO ditch the idea of a T56 and get a T5 in behind it. Also ditch the idea of VCT and either cam, port, exhaust & intake the current I6 or strap a turbo on the side.

Either that or sell up and get yourself a nice AUII/III XR8.

Im thinking more along the lines on a XR6 BA/BF then put a typhoon (BF) kit on it

The XR50 kit could look alright on your car i reckon, havent seen many people with that kit on it. But its personal preference. AWC make it.. www.awcinfo.com

Ill add to the list of people saying forget the T56, either out a t5 in it or strengthen up the auto and shiftkit it, then bolt on a Raptor kit
