I'm over Subaru forums... for some reason there are a lot of knobs on there who think that they're cool cos they're a P-plater and own a WRX. It's like the knobs who own VL Turbos or VS Executives and think that they're unique - err, it was the most common/popular car of its age.

stolen from wikipedia:

Quote:
The organisation has the aim of caring for the dependents of deceased Australian servicemen. The dependants of World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Malayan emergency and Vietnam War deceased are cared for. In addition the peacekeeping operations in East Timor, the war in Iraq has provided work for Legacy. Finally, any death which is deemed service-related is attended to by Legacy.

Quote:
In Australia, the Legacy bears the name Liberty out of respect for Legacy Australia, an organization which aids veterans and their families during and after wars.[1]

might have something to do with marketing deciding that being a japanese manufacturer, trying to sell a car named the same as an organisation started to help the families of dead serviceman (who may have been killed in a war that you were the bad guy in) was just a bit too ironic.

nice cars though!

+ 1
I love it how all the WRX owners say it like it's special. "Hey mate what do you drive? *big grin smug look* WRX Bro 8-) " Yeah, same as every other guy that has it, in Red, white, blue or black. and if your lucky, something custom that makes it super special.

I'm not usually a jap car fan, but thats not a bad looking one tangcla. looks smooth
