dan, clean up the old coolant tank and flush the whole system as much as u can in the next few weeks. just refill with water for the time being, before fitting the brand new one,
i have a link on aff and will send to u, a very good cooling system cleaner.
have u thought about having the radiator cleaned out by a radiator shop too, rodded? while u are at it, cost about $80. it will be a bit of insurance for summer, if u are going to keep the car that is, lol

Thanks guys. The engine is all back together now, just waiting on a PS pump pulley then hopefully it'll run!

More pics will follow, I've done a few more cosmetic things too.

Took some new pics of the NF this morning on a drive to celebrate it being a functioning car again. :D Ended up needing an AFM too, all sorted now and it feels nice and healthy. Will be better tomorrow, full exhaust is going on. Should sound awesome :D Sounds like a tractor ATM, the drivers side manifold is leaking.

I have new plates on the way too. I also fitted the headlight protectors and the V8 badges.

Love it!! Heritage green FTMFW, I'm so jealous of the sunroof though

What items you got lined up for the exhaust?

I love the roof :D

Not sure what brand the exhaust is, its come off a wrecked NF.

Unknown Extractors & Cats, 2.5" Piping and a chrome straight-cut oval tip that perfectly fits the bar cut-out. I heard it on the car before it came off, can't wait to get it on! Hopefully be cruising around tomorrow night annoying everybody with it lol. I'm hoping it helps the performance a bit, I already put in a Lukey panel filter and I'll get a BA XR6T Snorkel too.

The gas should be coming out tomorrow too, so I'll have the boot back, Then I'm going to start on a simple boot install to clean up the boot.

Looks like I have an LSD that still works too. Only 3.23 gears but still....

I still have a few more tricks up my sleeve too.....

I've gotten the Fairlane now to a stage where I'm happy with the way it looks. Now has SL's in the rear, and lows in the front with Pedders low spring seat struts. Also got a camber kit in to fix up the alignment, came up within spec so I'm happy.

Also got bored of the XR8 copies really quickly, so I got some AJR copies. I like them much better.

Got a heat gun onto the pinstripes and got those off, I think it looks cleaner.

Lastly put an NL grille on, not real convinced yet, but at the moment I think it looks better. I'd love to get some chrome door moulds to match.

I got the obligatory NL Woodgrain shifter surround, and a chrome nut for the shifter. Trying to track down a leather shifter and handbrake handle.

Got the exhaust on too, sounds great now. I'm driving around with the window down all the time listening to it. Feels reasonably pokey too :D

Heres some average pics, couldn't be bothered driving somewhere to take good ones. I may do so tomorrow. Also have a pic of the engine bay back in one piece, needs a clean again already though. Its a pity that the unpainted bits of the engine are rusty, lets it all down. Would look better with a fresh 347 in there, but I need to stop spending :(

Anyway let me know what you reckon fellas.

Keep the NL grille on it I reckon

Looking good mate. Pity you didn't get that V8 Manifold plate on evilbay, but it did manage to find it's way to my house and now sits on the wifes ED :P
What's next on the cards?
