Dude, we can fix it, and if you need, you can borrow ED until it is sorted. I know it will be sorted and it will be something simple. If you are off tomorrow i can drop out and we can nut it out together. I will bring the pressure guage so we can check fuel pressure etc.

Thanks Brett. Yeah I am off tomorrow so if you wanna come out and help me burn the f**k you are more then welcome! Cheers on the offer of ED it really is appreciated but I really want to get this thing sorted soon. I just hate borrowing peoples cars. If worse comes to worse and I dont get it sorted I will hit the olds up to use their Pootrol until its done.
I reckon fuel pressure is now right with the new pump. I drove it today once it fired up finally and it is mega rich so there is plenty of fuel there.
Paul. Nah its not stupid and the help is appreciated. Havent checked the ECU as suck as I wouldnt know where to start. I have run a code scan with Bretts scan tool and it all come up clear.
It has to be something nearly as retared as me!
It has been starting pretty well all afternoon so lets see how it goes in the morning now with another TFI on it.

Well I just checked the USPS tracking website and my Moates chip cleared Australian Customs today so hopefully that will be here in the next few days!
Hopefully that helps.

It cant hurt to try an ECU,want me to bring mine out tomorrow. Seeing as mine only runs the dash and the climate if the ignition or injector drivers have failed in it then it makes no differnce to how mine will run.

Cheers Rossco.
Yeah if you can Brett it would be good. Something else to knock off the list. I just went out and hit the key and it fired first go , had a nice cold idle and after a few minutes dropped back to normal.
Its got me beat. Must be something in the cold start side of things.

Well I am happy to announce that it started this morning!
Took about 8 cranks but it was bloody cold and it fired up!
So I went and bought a new TFI module and put that on. I used the 6 cylinder EL one as it is the bloody same but nearly half the price.
It is very fuely and a bit awkward to start when warm as it overfuels but that is the tune.
That will be sorted soon seeing as though te Moates chip turned up today as well.
US post just shows how hopeless Australia post is. Australia post cant tell you half the time where a registered post item is within Australia but US post was able to tell me on tracking that my item was a Penrith post office from the other side of the frigging world!
It might all just work out yet!
