hit it hard last night and all day in 40 degree heat. ever so close but i ran out of paint, probably need another litre to finish the job. I have the front bumper and the lights, plus the rear bar to do then last of all the engine bay. so close but not quite there. still its looking damn fine now.
enjoy

welded up the holes where the chrome was then bogged it

again welded and bogged up the holes. also welded a plate where the boot lock used to be and covered in bog.

also put another plate in the passenger fender where the aerial used to be aswell.

a little preview :)

a few little touch ups to do, particularly around the door frames, but will fix all that up when i cut back and polish the most of the car!

just imagine it 2 or 3 inches lower, quite high when theres no engine on board!

took me about 40 mins to polish back the bottom door chrome trim. It was black as can be. luckily onl the bottom door trims are black the rest of it is chrome like it should be.
