Nice tidy boot man! I also love the shaved boot lid, do you have a lock hidden somewhere else, like behind the number plate, or is it just electric release only?

Cheers

Sounds like you fell into the Blue motor/Black motor trap for dizzys.
On a blue motor the oil pump shaft is imperial on a black motor it is metric.
They dont interchange.
When you order your replacement make sure you tell them which motor it is going in.
Blue motor is XY-XC , black motor is XD-XE.
What model did your motor come out of originally? If your not sure PM me the engine number and I will be able to work it out and let you know.

I read that the dizzy didn't fit & thought this was probably the case, as i knew there was 2 different sized dizzy's (shaft size) for the clevo's. Bit of a bummer it doesn't fit. Hopefully they can swap it over for the correct for your application dizzy!

Cheers

yeah i only just found out that the black and blue clevos were a diff shaft size, ive emailed them but as per usual no replys. they reckon it fits ALL 302 351 clevelands. Do you reckon if i take it to a machinist to skim a mm off it would that be ok for it? doesnt look like these C*** are gonna reply back to me. its definately a blue block 2v clevo.

Looks good. Well done.
Nice to know the machining work to get the dizzy to fit. Thing that is funny but is you can get a black dizzy into a blue motor but not the other way around.
So if yours is a blue there would be no chance that dizzy would fit in a black.
The model number you gave me looks a lot like the firing order....... did you get it off the inlet manifold?
If you give me the engine number (passengers side of block next to the water pump) I will be able to tell you what year and type of car it originally come out of.
