Paul mentioned that you found the United 100 to be good and found you lost some RWKW when you went back to the 98. I had been using BP fuel but the father in law found grit/ sand or similar at the pakenham servo and it f**k his work car. BP paid for all the repairs but it has made me a little reluctant to use their fuels if they let that crap get through...

ive found water in the united fuel up here when i got it for the mower. obviously wasnt united100 for the mower tho

and apparently they had the 98 fuels tested up here about 18 months ago, shell98 came back at around 87ish, caltex came back at 91-92 and bp came back as 96

ive been told 7-11 fuel is good, i use it if there are no bp's around

Yeah I use 7-11 in both my cars but with the XR chasing higher KW we think it's time to try find something a bit better.

get the fuel you use tested, if it comes back good, keep using it, if not, find a high traffic servo, that way the fuel isnt sitting for long amounts of time collecting s**t and water

The car went in for a full service today after the mechanic couldn't get it done the other week. All fluids are getting changed, getting the knock in the front wheel looked at and getting the diff looked at properly due to the fact it's not locking up!

As suspected ALL of the bushes in the front end are rooted and are being replaced, rest of the car looks Awsome though!
