Yeah I just had a quick read over a pervious thread, looks like the same model as the BA. Only because it said they were the same but the BA had a dimple to get over the TB, the Terry had more space and could sit higher to avoid this. Seems it burns the bonnet through the heat though, so might have to wrap it with heat wrap.

I have a terry one on my car, but it also has a BARRA in it.

They are a different shape to the BA one and you need to get the flexi hose that goes with it, as well as risers to hold it higher off the intake manifold.

There are pics in my thread showing the differences between the two.

Cheers
BenJ

Did you find any difference in throttle response etc when you changed it over?

Not a lot as I changed from a BA one to a Terry one.

Bit more in the mid range though.

Cheers

Picked up the 94DT Head today thanks to Smik-El, it seems to be in really good condition with no cracks, corrosion or damage. You can't really see in the pictures however, the inside has very little marks and looks hardly used. Smik-El said when he had bought the EL, the head had just been freshly re-built, so obviously it looks good for its age.
I have the 95DT head in the Xr at the moment, but as the 95DT heads are hard to chase up I had to settle with the older 94DT head. The head looks to be the same, and through confirmation by other members the head will fit nicely on the EL.
Next step is to take a trip to CVE performance and get things underway...

Bit of an update:
The Head, Wade 1521a and Springs went over to CVE today. Best move I have made with the car so far, Paul is great to talk to and is very dedicated to get the best out of the car. I defiantly reccomend speaking with him if anyone's looking into getting work done...

The head is going to take 4 weeks of work before its ready, don't know how I'll last four weeks in dieing to get it already Lol!!

After chatting with Paul Im not sure How long I'll be keeping the Wade cam, I'll see what I get from it then will probably be getting a more aggressive CVE custom grind...

Will have A EL XR6 cam for sale soon so if anyone is interested let me know...

Alright I have a bit of newes on the XR...

After chatting with Paul about Reground Cams VS Billet Cams. I decided that the 1521a wasn't going to get me where I wanted, as a result CVE is grinding me a billet which is BIGGER and more aggressive then the Wade cam....

The only issue is that there are no Billets in the country at the moment, but more will be coming form the states in about 4 weeks.

Since the head work is 4-5 weeks off being complete so the cam should be ready in just about perfect timing...

I will have the Wade 1521a with spec sheet for sale soon so if anyone's interested let me know....

I do like your car and what you have done to it so far, not sure about the cam as us OLDIES don't have much use for that sort of thing.

My extractors look just like yours does, in need of a paint job. :D

Cheers George :)
Lol yeah the extractors are in need of a little TLC :)

As for the cam, you either love it or hate it but the CVE one does have the RWKW I'm after so I'm happy with it...
