Nope, not with the kays I do....
I average about 500 kays a week.... Cheap motoring.... $45 for 500 kay on average per week.

All my mods mainly are for comfort, handling, looks....

Mainly the burbs...

I drive from Craigmore to Underdale for work, shop runs, dropping the little one to school and cruises too of course.....

Finally mouted my UHF in the car... So that will save me some batteries on cruises etc LOL
Decided I had a free Saturday Arvo to see what what I needed and went hunting for a mount to install the antenna but these modern cars are a right pain.... I couldnt find a decent mount anywhere so landed up getting one of those spotlight brackets that go where front your number plate is. Well it does the job but still dont like it.... but can mount spotties if I want too later.... well maybe not......

Well at least it didnt take too much hassle, looks neat and works......

I dont know if its an option but being a taxi it could have a hole in the middle if the roof from its taxi days, although I could be wrong as I am not sure how the roof signs were setup where the car was used.

If it does have the repair from the hole you could try remove it and fit the aerial base. I know on my ex cab the hole was the perfect size for the aerial mount. Bonus is you could run a smaller thinner aerial due to it being at the highest point of the car limiting any interference the metal structure of the car might cause

I fixed the roof some time ago....

It doesnt have to get long range as it was really for just cruises (we have those little UHF's to stir each other up and for traffic issues). Range at the moment is about 15k or so which is plenty for what I need it for.

Finally scored a Factory Egas Towbar...

Fitted it up today after a little bit of bother with the bolt on the side not being in my car for some reason ... But we got there in the end....

Yes there is....

In this pic the arm goes on the side of the chassis rail for the Egas. (Had to add a bolt there on mine)

On the Normal BA Towbar it runs underneath the rail and bolts up to where the Egas tank mounts.... (Why a standard BA one wont fit)
