also like that you put the proper gear knob back, i hate those metal ones compared to the orig
i would have kept the wood, but it's not something to dislike

also nice being a v8

low as too! mine's a rough enough ride!!

yeah the car come with a lot of weird stuff like that, i have photos of it before i had even seen the car and i can tell u its was fair average, i'd post them up i dont even wanna look at them lol. Yeah i can understand how some people like the woodgrain, it's just not for me that's all. V8 is nice, the winsdor has more poke than what people give credit for, i have embarassed quite a few of the local holden boys down here, hehehe

when i bought mine it has fluro lights and wiring EVERYWHERE!
removed all that crap, made the interior nice and original

whats the ride like in it though? you couldn't have any travel at all or it would destroy your rear guards!!
looks SICK though. :)

thers little clips that hold the woodgrain on, they are pretty flimsy though, i didnt pull the woodgrain off so to speak, i just swapped the top half with the new and old trims.

didnt have an lights lol, just like that gay gear knob, and some other s**t. Believe it or not it still has a bit more room to go lower. It smacks the gaurds a bit yeh, i could get them rolled but it wont stop the inside of the gaurds copping whacks, its def a nice ride heigh though but yeah can get quite bumpy, i'm 6 foot 5 and even though i slouch a fair bit in the car i still whacked my head on the roof once lol.

Hey Burns

I am very interested in your 20 inch dark agents and i am willing to trade them with my BF MkII 17 inch XR6 wheels if you are interested also. I have just recently signed up on this forum and my email is not working at all, i have been trying to contact you.
If you are interested in the swap also, i can send you some better pics via email. This is my email choskins@hoskins.com.au . I would love to see some more pics of yours too. Sorry to do this on your fairmont thread too mate, looks very nice!

Thanks Burns

my advice would be start with a stroker kit and change the heads ( i went with AFR aluminium ) and a different manifold they dont breath to well the windsors. but when done right you can make big gains. i may be wrong but have been told two bolt mains are good for around 500hp motor but can also split the block when going to far over that. mine has its caps built down into the block and stud girdle to try and keep it together. a good old school c4 can be fitted with mods to the bell housing. lots you can do and the windsor sounds so much better than any holden motor in my books. good luck with it. very nice car
