I dunno about the black intake manifold but the polished rocker cover looks good!

Is this the same engine as the mx6 v6 from 93-97 ish? If so, there are turbo manifold & dump pipe kits available on Ebay US. No idea on quality or anything else about them, but they are interesting.....

Cheers

What did they sting you for the exhaust quote? Shop around a bit, you will be surprised at what some places want to charge!

My g/f's tx5 turbo drones a bit between 2,000 & 3,000 rpm, but below or above that it sounds fine. It has the factory dump pipe, factory cat & then a 3" system from the cat back, and a cannon muffler with a big outlet, probably 4 or 5 inch, it was on the car when it was bought.

Aside the drone issues that could probably be sorted with a hotdog, the note isn't that bad for a turbo 4 banger.

If i had to do the exhaust again on it, i wouldn't put a cannon on it without a hotdog before it, or maybe a small straight thru muffler, to help reduce the drone.

Cheers

Any current mods to the engine? Future planned mods?

Need to take those into consideration in picking the exhaust. If you want to turbo it later on, a 3" system might be the way to go(less to replace later down the track), if not probably only a 2.5" system. What is the size of the factory pipe, is it 2 inch? 2 and 1/4 maybe? I think the factory tx5 turbo's were around 2 & 1/4 for a 2.2lt.

Cheers

Looks good with the rims & the exhaust sounds like a pretty good deal to me! At 2.5" you could still turbo it and unless chasing huge power it will do for a good while, while giving you improvements to power & sound right now.

Cheers
