With the altezzas gone I decided to paint my headlight inserts black. Here's a before and after pic

Finished the headlights yesterday. While I had the grill off I sanded it back and gave it a couple licks as well.

End result looks good. Much better than the altezzas. But they did seem to throw better light

Thanks. being completely honest, I never really liked the altezzas. I just wanted the black headlights and instead of doing this I decided to waste money. Live and learn

Currently trying to get my hands on an s2 xr bar. Was contemplating getting rid of the au, but if I get the new front end ill hold onto it for a bit longer. If I do get the bar I will most likely look at converting it to a manual early next year.

So I won the xr bar :D obviously still need to buy headlights bonnet etc

It has a couple of cracks, but nothing too major from what I can see in the photos. I'll get a quote on how much to have it repaired professionally, but if its too much I'll give it a crack myself...

Oh, and I won it for a low $50 :P I love me a good bargain!

Just picked up the bar.. Damage isn't too bad. Anyone got any tips with plastic welding? Or should I just to it to a fabricator?

Got defected for a cracked windscreen. Bummer. Took it over the pits and it needed a couple things fixed, including reduce exhaust noise. So rather than making any permanent changes, I have gotten the rear portion imitated but in a 2".

So quiet now :P
