no need to have a go at anyone. you want some fact do you. stock AU head flows 302HP. the porting you can aford for the cost of an XR6 head will only bring that up to about 362HP in real world power on a half worn out falcon with a stock or wade cam that is only going to give you another 10-15HP a stock EB head flows 330HP. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1792/article.html a stock XR6 head out flows a stock EB easily. it would flow very close to what a modified head would flow any way. then you also have the option of port the XR6 head. wich will be cheaper then porting a stock head because it already has biger exhaust valves and better port shapes so there is less work to do. |

Thanks for all your trouble tickford-6 i got a head the other day complete with cam rockers red rocker cover for $500 only done 29000 K's but i still need to get the tickford intake tubes that sit over the rocker cover with the tickford wings on it anyone have one.

There was one on ebay in December that went for $500 and was in perfect nick with 29,000km on it...
It was bought from melb. Just wondering if it was the same one, as it sounded familiar. |

Yes... I know that...
But I know the head was sold to a guy in NSW, living North of Sydney on the central coast. Just a big coincidence thats all... Not that it worries me, but it was a nice battle I was having with this guy on ebay... Hope I didnt cost him too much by raising the bid... But then I missed out on putting in my last bid, which would have blown the other guy out of the water. Ahhh... thems the brakes...

No my mate lives down at windsor sydneys west it was off a xr6 ute the rod went through the side of block punching a hole in it he put in a V8 and he had the motor sitting there in his shed for a while he wasnt sure what he was going to do with it untill the other week, unfortunatly he lost the snorkel that has the tickford wings on it.
