hey dude, just use your auto ecu if you are chucking a manual in it, will require a rev switch wired up to the ecu and thats it

The car has run on an aftermarket ECU for the last 24months, but I will be pulling that out soon (back on EEC) and would prefer to run a factory manual ECU & associated wiring.

I have 'tricked' the auto ecu before to kill the high speed thermos etc but would much prefer a factory ecu. I assume that's what you mean by a rev switch.

Hey Fella,
I've got about six EL ecu's in the shed but not sure which would be manual.
Any idea of the part number or the logo sequence for it?

manuel ecu will go something like this. 6DAE or 6TAE(Tickford)... as the auto would be like, 6DBE..
