looking for a idle control solenoid plug with about 6" of cable -i broke the retaining clips on mine

Self serve wreckers are probably your best bet - the plug can be dismantled and the pins removed, so you shouldn't need to cut or solder.

EF/EL/XH plugs will fit, not sure if EA/EB/ED plugs are the same.

AU's are similar but the clips are orientated wrong.
