hey guys
Insurance finally told me today that my car ganna be written off and ganna payout which leaves me with 4k - 4.5k so buy new car and do repairs or what ever to the new car

been looking at a few xr6 in NSW and VIC and QLD that are in my price area that id fly down and drive back.

anyone one selling a sporty Fairmont or Falcon or XR6.
im willing to fly to the car and drive it back and send plates back or transfer plates to QLD or something.
I really need to find a new car withing this week or next or guys at work will get p****d at me for getting a lift all the time.

heres your chance to sell your car if your interested or if ya misses chewing ya ear off for not selling the car quick enough LOL Also if you know some one selling plz tell them or give me some info on the car see in i take interest

Cheers,
Jason

If anything go with a stock car for now, instead of someones done up thrash mobile.

And stick with the Fairmonts, you wont get a good nick XR6 for that price.

Yeah nice buy with a couple things that needed fixing, unless you would do the headgasket yourself, add another $800 onto it. And there are alot of other cars that have less than 230,000km's.

List your requirements then..... do you want cheap and repairable, or you dont care about how many km's etc.?

I know if i had a chance to buy another car again i would wait till i come across a factory EF manual... i know, hard to come by, but with a reground cam, exhaust and intake would own a stocko XR6.

Not trying to pollute your thread just giving advice.

Hi,
I have just the car , an EL fairmont ghia, these cars are great as they have the xr6 motor, trans and limited slip diff, suspension etc. Plus you get all theluxury stuff like leather seats, premium sound and heaps more.
Mine is real sweet and stock with a history of careful use by a mature owner.
I can't attach photos but happy to email some.
I need to sell quick to finance recent purchase so its going cheap, i'm only asking $7250 just got a RWC.
Can meet you at the airport or what ever.

cheers

Your quiet arrogant arnt you?
The car you refer to was up for sale at the wrong time unfortunately.
Here is a link to the cheapest EL XR6 on e-bay I could find, It is damaged and they still want near on $4K,
Ohh yeah they will get it too, car is not quiet as good as it looks in the photo's either.

Stick with a futura and spend the extra $1K ON MOD'S.
