My fairmont diff has well and truely had it, I just need an LSD diff to replace it (no point in getting single spinner as the current diff is LSD)
A rebuilt diff would be perfect otherwise it would have to be in a car so I can test it to make sure it doesnt whine or grind.

Otherwise if someone has a 3.23 or similar ratio LSD diff let me know how much your chasing

Cheers

Sedan or wagon (diffs differ due to coil and leaf spring differences)?
What model as there were some differences in the handbrake assemblies I think so it might make it easier for you if you can find one the same...

i would give u mine if i knew how to pull mine apart.....and the whole car apart in that matter.

but if noone wants to buy my EA whole ill pull the thing apart. i think mine is a 2.7:1 LSD....i know its an LSD but not sure of ratio. if i take it off its off a EA Fairmont Ghia 3 speed.

I HAVE A LSD DIFF WITH 3.23 GEARING WHICH WOULD FIT INTO YOUR EA BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT WHERE THE TAIL SHAFT GOES TO THE DIFF IT HAS A FLAT PLAT THAT THE SHAFT BOLTS TO WHICH IS DIFFERENT TO THE EA.

I guess I would have to machine up a new plate then, how much you chasing? I assume it is just the gears or is it disc to disc?

the diff is complete from disc to disc, i just hope that you know that i am in queensland and that it might cost a bit to freight it to you. the diff is in really great condition and has no leaks or any noises. i would like to get $175 for it. to buy them from a wrecker would cost $250 plus. getting it freighted to you is the only problem, so its up to you what you want to do. please just let me know ok. hope to do business with you.

freight is going to be a problem, would you be able to get a quote for me? Maybe try a place that send bulk lots every few weeks as it might be cheaper, I dont mind Waiting for three weeks

the price seems reasonable but might have to be negotiable depending on freight costs. How many kays has the diff done? any noises at all? has it been re-built?

the diff is in perfect condition, has no noises at all, hasnt been rebuilt and it has only done 150,500 kms. it is in my 90 model fairlane which got ridden off. with this diff i get on a long trip 750kms to a tank of fuel. couldnt ask for a better diff. i will do the best in getting you a good price for sending it to you. i got a price for the same diff from a couple of wreckers and they both want $250 for the same diff i have. i feel that i am asking a good price.
