I take it you want a Vac?
Is this for the 302? If so a 465 would work nicely on it... bigger doesn't always mean better.

Even with a bit of work done, a 465 would be good on a 302, and i wouldn't go over a 600, you'll be pouring extra fuel down it for nothing.
There used to be a formula for working out which CFM Holley to go for, but can't remember it, but i do know a 600 Holley will feed a mild 351 with ease.

Nah, a few years back i always had something kicking around.
Has that got the orig plastic Carter Thermoquad on it? They can actually be ok when they're running right, but thats rare lol.
I'll keep an eye out for you... but another great little carby for them is the Carter Performance, that was around the 600 or 625 cfm mark and worked great, keep your eye open for one as it will help on the pollution gear side as you can connect a lot of it up, where as with a Holley it stands out like dogs balls.

Ah a very complex carby, both Thermoquad and Quadrajet are.
If you want to play with that i suggest finding a carby man who knows them well.
But funny you mention the Quadrajet, over the years i have never seen anyone to get one running right on a Ford, but they always worked well on the GM.
