I'm starting my shaker mod and would like a white EF Gli bonnet, thought it would be smarter to NOT cut up my original, just incase I bugger something up. something localish would be nice.

Have you thought about contacting AWC. They supply the 200kw motor cover, and that is the basis for the shaker kits for the AU that i have seen.

if it helps, Performance Buildups Magazine (vol.15 No.1) ran a step by step detailed article on an original GT shaker being cast into a modified fibreglass kit for the BA Falcon. it allso shows how they got it to fit first time using templates for cutting and custom reinforcing for the bonnets subframe. if your interested i can email you a copy in 400 or 600dpi. (5 pages) or you may allready have a collection yourself, its the one with the yellow & blue Super Gas Pontiac on the front cover.
