i know i have posted this and didnt get anywhere.. but i have tried everywhere.. only place as we all know is mel wood.. or ford.. there hasnt been a 6 speed anywhere.. so if you got one layin around please feel free to let me know.. thanks guys and girls

yeah mate a shifter would be great.. but a gear box 1st would be heaps better

yeh darren from fern tree gully auto salvage (FTG) might be a good go...hes had a few BA wrecks even a 6 speed GT but dont think the trans etc is still available for that. Flick Darren a PM (XR8 Dismantler) and see what he might be able to work out for u.

can only do a new one for $5500 including tax

this includes the bellhousing but unsure if it has the slave cylinder/throw out bearing on it but i would assume it does as the v8's do.


secondhand ones are fetching $4000 so for an extra $1500 you get a brand new one

thats interesting, i think ill spend that on something else heh. got a manual sitting there already, just interested in whats out there re hydraulic clutch kits :)
