Hey all,
for my boot install im after some speark wire, [from amp to speakers], over 5metres is what im after...anyone got any?!

Dude any automotive store should have what you need.
Also, get some good thicker stuff, don't use the thin figure 8 wire.
Also, any electrical wholesaler (eg: Middy's) would have some decent cable.
Probably cost you about $10-$15 for 5m of good cable.

oh yeah, where abouts is middy's?
its just places i've seen are like $1.10 a metre and im not sure if its good stuff (eg d**k or harvey norman), was trying to find a warehouse or wholesaler...

i know i am not in vic but i have used 6mm twinflex duel core cable from my amp to subs.

For the stuff that would cost you $1.10 a metre, it would only be a figure 8 cable. (thin stuff)
The cable i'd use myself would cost around $3-4 a metre, but its good thick cable, with thicker insulation around the cable.
It's just a speaker wire, but a lot thicker than the usual stuff.

Autobarn have great stereo centres in their stores. JB Hi-Fi are also very good.

sorry kwaussie im gonna dis agree with u there, specialist audio stores take top tier, then autobarn then repco, and underground is jb, honnestly when it comes to car stereos etc they are completly usless!

JB-HiFi sell stinger speaker cables. They are pretty good but are pretty dear. I have about 5metres here but I am going to need it for my own install...cost me $20 for 15m...good to have connections at JB ;)
