Hi all,
MY taxi is begging for a set of rims preferably have plenty of rubber on them and im only prepared to pay max$1500 im located in sydney out near liverpool must find some asap. pm me if you got a set or know of something

MY last set of 18" i grabbed for 1200 and they were 5000kms old so there is some good deals out there.

Picked up some 17*8 BA XR8 rims for 1150 brand new with new tyres identical style to the magnet ute.

For that price you'd have to make a comprimise on tyres. Doable tho. I paid 1300 in perth for my 17" EL GT copies with remould tyres.
Brand New btw.[/quote] Looks like you got ripped hard as l just got 17 inch rims with brand new goodyear eagle tyres for 550. Not a scratch on them from a 2004 cadallac seville.

Actually mate, thats the going rate for these rims in WA. In Vic they're about 100-150 cheaper.

The tyres i got are Hankook ventus 235/45*17 and jeez they grip well and for another $350 i coundve got 18" but what for the 17" look the part.

I picked up new Ford Territory TX 17" steelies (to put on the AU ute) for $300 delivered to Sydney as well ... now to go tyre shopping.
Not overrated ... huge dish on the rim ... and I can afford good tyres to boot as well.

Actually there is a guy on the FordForums in Vic that an immaculate set for sale for about the same price I got mine for.
