Wanted a sound bottom end or a complete AUII motor.
I intend on replacing my 5.0 so i dont need box or ecu or loom etc. Just want the motor and front end dress. Not really interested in the heads or intake either, but will take them if you dont want to separate them. Looking to pay $1000. Brett

I have a short block I'd be willing to part with but i am in Adelaide. It's bores are in very good condition, but the water pump and maybe the timing cover will need to be replaced.
I haven't taken the sump off yet, but I have no reason to suspect there is anything wrong. It's out of an EB Fairmont that I think had done about 220,000km. If frieght is not too expensive, I'd consider selling this to you at a price that brings your total under $1000.

Well was looking at timing cover/water pump etc. But upon pulling the rocker covers it seems the only real problem is a pair of bent pushrods and some minor damage to my Trickflow Adjustable Roller Rockers.
