The AU3 XR8 one is better than stock and at only like 30 bucks it can't hurt. the SS inductions one is way too expensive for the nothing that it does :p.

well it does more than nothing but yes price tag is hefty and in a way over rated but they are a quality product with proven gains.

XR8 dismantler from Ferntree gull auto salvage can hook u up with the tikky intake snorkel for round $30-$40

yeah it is, just without the tickford logo, so that's not cool. lol.
and yeah the ss snorkel does do something but in terms of bang for buck forget about it.

The ELGT snorkel is bigger than the XR snorkel. The XR one is the same as a GLi.
I have two of them sitting side by side and you can see the difference.

i had an ss inductions snorkel, not worth the almost $300 they retail for.
lucky for me i got it for next to nothing before my mate traded his car.
i then sold it on e-bay cause i thought it was useless.

i don't get it though, you're still limited to the same amount of flow coming through underneath the bonnet? surely getting much bigger than the gt/xr8 snorkel ain't gonna do anything much, especially not for 5 times the price.

thats why i got the cheap el gt snorkel.. hehe.. cant justify 229 for the cheaper aunger, over the 300 plus i think for the ss induction.. many people are with me.
