Just wonderin if anyone has a throttle cable in decent condition for an EB falcon. Im not gettin full throttle anymore and as Im gettin a XH snorkel this week I wanna change throttle cable too.

Can get em at places like U pull it (or wreckers where u pull the s**t off yurself for 5$. Did yours melt across the rocker cover?

yeh melted abit and its stretched
f**k repco - $68.50
Can get 1 new at a wreckers close to here for $50, ill ring a few other places and hopefully buy one soon. Its about 7mm off centre, i was told id b losing a fair bit, bout a quarter of throttle, that sound about right? Is it noticeable?

my outter actually broke over the rocker cover (i'd urs did too because they wouldn't melt seeing as they're laced with wire) but i did a temporarily permanent fix on mine: get a piece of copper tube and cut it length-wise on one side, then put it over the cable where the break is and crush in on there to hold the two bits of outter together, worked for me.

EF/EL wont fit an EB.
Honestly mate, save the bucks if you have to and buy new, second hand will already be half stuffed.
Put up with the half the throttle till you can get one, try a couple of other parts places as Repco are a rip off on retail.
If you're good on the phone, call up and say you're from ummm Triple 8 Automotive (or anything that comes to mind) and you want a price on one, quite often they'll give you trade straight up.
