As Above, I need access to the workshop manual that ford uses.
Would prefer in the Sydney area, or even if someone can scan the Chapter on LPG and email it to me - ford.boy@wog.com.au
Any Help would be appreciated
Chris

Might wanna consider putting location in the title...
I think LPG was an add in seperate part on the EF genuine Ford manual. Not sure about the revision that included EF and EL (that one was made in 3 volumes unlike the early one which is one).

You have a good point. I did consider this when writing it. You dont have to be in sydney to scan the item, and email it. On that basis, I chose not to, as people that are not in sydney would not look at the thread.
Thanks for your help
Cheers
Chris

Thanks for the offer,
I have bought a second hand LPG conversion
What I need to know is there are 4 wires, located in the engine bay. I need to know where they go to. There is:
1 plug, which has a grey wire (No Trace) and a Purple wire (No trace)

There is also 2 separate wires, the plug may have been cut. the colours of these are
Red (No Trace) and
Green (Black Trace).

I just need to know where they go to.
cheers
Chris

Do you have the ecu and all the wiring and plugs as there are a lot of plugs and solenoids under the bonnet :?: :?

I have all the wiring in place, except for what is listed above. I am not using the ecu, as I will be using my XR6 manual ECU

All the solenoids are in place and connected. This was all working in the car that the parts were taken from, as far as I know. I did not take the conversion out of the other car, I just bought the conversion second hand.

There are wires that need to go to the ecu as it controlls a lot of the functions

There are 3. I have added those. The person that sold me the conversion gave me a whole ECU loom. I have removed the 3 extra wires, and have inserted them into my ECU.

I have been advised that I can use any tickford ECU, so I will be using the XR6 one

Fuel select, LPG lock off, and petrol lock off.

Only problem is it won't control the above 3 wires - so you'll need to improvise with the lock offs switching, and fitting a relay in the injector power line to disable them on LPG operation.
