Hi All,

Just putting some feelers for an AU momo wheel...

Firstly does anyone have one they're willing to part with? If not what do people reckon I should be paying for a good one?

Like this one:

If you can get a good/new one for under $500 you are doing very well.

Thats a good price?

I know that a good second hand ED one is worth 450 bucks and they are as rare as hens teeth...

I wasn't sure how rare the AU are... And hence by governing the price...

I might get the ebay one then...

Cheers,
Tim

Thats the point I don't know what to offer...

I saw this one for 450 on ebay...

And I saw a 4 month old one go the other day which included the airbag as well for $208...

How much do you want for it? If I could get another for 208 I'd be stoked... I missed the damn auction on ebay by 2 minutes for that other one...

ERTVE 3600 B WHEEL STEERING, WARM CHARCOAL-CHERRY RED GRIP, MOMO WHEEL - WITH CRUISE, XR about $1,300

Thats the ford product code. Unfortunately people know what they are worth so you rarely see them cheap. As I said, a new one for under $500 is a good price. Dont bother with 2nd hand, the red stuff comes off after a while in certain places. Hell, even the s**t looking ones on ebay with half the wheel bright red still go for $350 or something.

Do you know that the steering arm going into the steering rack are different? Cant remember the difference but one had more spline than the other I think. And they cant be just swapped as both ends of the arm is different. Well that's what I found out when I put a ED one in my EF.

yet to find out about that...

The EL one is a colapsable shaft, so it is definitely different... I'm hoping there is no major difference there otherwise there will be some modifying going on there...

Like I said its something I will look into more detail at when I get one here...

Thanks for your thoughts though...

Cheers,
Tim
