As per title, i'm really really after a sandwich plate from an AU V8, need this to finish up my LTD, ED sandwich plate didn't cut the cake when i installed the AU T5, see my build thread in the garage. Also if anyone from NZ has an Alloy Dshaft, i'm also after one of those (sedan)

Cheers

Come on...some one must have some AU blue tops, or even the Ford design 3 injectors.

Hey man, no i didnt check, i managed to get a set from the states, new pintle caps, o-rings and filters. for $US100. Not bad! They will suit me fine. Cheers anyway though, i think a brand new set for most places (including ford racing parts) is around the $250 us dollar mark.

Could still be keen, do you have any pics? Are they the ones from the Au's? I think mine are the mustang ones, kind of light blue.

Did you get the Alloy Tailshaft in the end?

FTG Auto Salvage here in Victoria had plenty of the alloy shafts in stock during the christmas period, might be worth a quick phone call to confirm it with them.

My EF/EL Driveshaft is suprisingly well balanced considering the shafts can be easily knocked out of balance.

No i haven't yet, What are they worth your way? Someone offered me one for $250 here, i thought that was a bit steep, was considering getting my alloy LTD one modified to the right length but that may well end up costing the same. Do you know if the ED/EF/AU Driveshafts varied in length at all? (XR sedan) as i don't want to blindly ask for an alloy one and end up with something as bad as i what i started with. I'll send FTG an email now, although i can bet international freight costs will render it pointless. Cheers

Just make sure it's a sedan Alloy one and not a Wagon one, but yeah, it might be that freight will kill you, but it's worth checking the freight to New Zealand.

I bought an NU one, almost fit, about 2mm too long, you can see in my build thread, looks like I'll get it shortened this time, only way it is guaranteed to fit
