looking for a bonnet vent. im doing a new pod filter install and need a vent to allow more air into the box setup.

i was after something smallish as it will sit just up from the passinger headlight.

its not to be used for any sort of forced air flow, its only there to allow ample air for the pod.

the panel to seperate the pod from the motor will be installed over the coming weeks. if i cant find a vent that i like ill probebly just end up putting in a ducting pipe, but i really want a vent

this is an example of what i want

i DONT want a cosworth vent as everyone has them these days

you could always get one of those sequentional scoops like fusion had on his car. Although I dunno how it will go on a boxcar.

You relise vents are for venting outwards, i.e. releasing hot air out. Scoops are for bringing the air in. What about a sesquential scoop as people use on EF/EL XR in replacement of the factory vents, there's a bloke who makes then, do a search, talk to Walker, I think he fitted some to his XR6.

i wanted a vent, i know they vent out, but will also allow the pod to suck in air if needed and looks good, i dont think the scoop will suit a boxcar.

can you post a pic or 3 :P of your scoop mUTHA?

a vent on your bonnet will be nowhere near as effective as a scoop for getting air into your filter... and you can get boxcar styled xr scoops
