Hey everyone,

had an unfortunate event where a part of the clutch system decided to s**t itself. The part that snapped was the piece of metal that holds the clutch cable to the clutch pedal, the item is called a CLEVIS.

I was hoping if someone may have one lying around that I may buy/borrow/steal just so i can get the car back down to my house.

Doesn't matter where you are located, I'll just ride down to pick it up.

I was hoping they'd be cheap...it's a pretty small piece of metal (relatively speaking). I was hoping to find one over the weekend so I could have moved my car home (car was stuck in not so great area theft wise) but forgot I had RACV lol

Thanks for the offer Krytox, I would have rode all the way there to pick it up...lucky I had RACV and car was less then 20km from home so I just towed it home instead :D.

Now I got to wait till monday to buy a new one :(

Well got the part...brand new from Ford...for a whopping 2.50 :D. The Clevis was cheaper then the friggen bushes (bushes cost me about $15...stupid).

Bought 2 just in case this one fails for some reason.

Yaay! I was right about something 8-)
It's not often that you would go through the bushes anyway. If you are running a HD clutch, I have seen the clevis f**k out.

Well I'm running one with more clamp then stock. So it is heavier. I might keep the old one and cut the ends off it and then weld it on top of my second one and see how long that will last.
