Hi i am after a single DIN ashtray surround with the birdseye maple woodgrain from DF/DL, I believe only came out in single DIN on the DF and not the DL. Located in Sydney. Name your price if you have one.
this is the one I am after see attached.

I assume that this one pictured is an aftermarket copy as ALL DF/DL LTD's and EL GT's came with Double Din stereo's and surrounds.

Cheers, Seth I dunno about that mate, I had an nf fairlane ghia with single din from factory  NF fairlane, where talking about the high spec LTD's, where it was standard not an option as i your case.

As has been stated, Ford never did Woodgrain single DIN Surrounds.
The only cars that had the woodgrain were the LTDs and the EL GT, and they had Double DIN stereos. Any that you see have had the woodgrain applique applied by somebody. There are companies that produce the appliques, you can get kits. You would be best buying one of those, and applying it to your surround. you can have any plastics painted to a lot of different wood grain styles too

I got it priced up. $300! Too high. The woodgrain is correctly called "birdseye maple" and apparently it is a tough one to replicate. So I was told.
