Any particular reason, also the SP3000 has been discontinued, and for a good reason!

Well i got one so after two to make a pair, why are the discontinued? I have a set on my car atm and i cant complain.

Ride: DENTED UP OLD AUT WAGON

Yeah - I've had SP1's and SP3000's in 235/45/17 and 245/40/17 and I've found the SP3000's to be bloody good really - Other than wearing out the outside edges too quick on the fronts

SP3000's are a crap tyre, get below 50% tread and they are lethal in the wet, and slippery as hell in the dry.

Nope. Not on my car. They're doing quite well below 50% and aren't leathal in the wet, nor slippery in the dry. You're doing something wrong mate. The SP1's are better, sure - But the SP3000's are 100x better than most tyres up to (and including) the same price.

Anyway, whatever. GOOD LUCK FINDING YOUR 18" SP3000 AU man.....
