I have a full set out of a standard EL six cylinder. I don't think there are any HLA's left, but you can have it for $30 posted.

Let me know if you're interested

as per http://www.fordmods.com/forums/post895837.html#895837, still f**k and still looking for answers...

havent tried changing the valve, but dont really want to drop the sump again to pull the timing cover. as per the video, it does not sound like the chain at all...

well have a listen to the video and see if you can tell.. cause i sure as f**k cant!!! doesnt sound like the chain really, i assumed it was chain because it started after i pulled out the tensioner, but i also turned the motor over with the crank gear out a tooth which may have damaged something.

the motor has 170psi pressure on all cyls and runs fine below 3000 so i dont think its a bent valve.

i have a compression tester but no way to test oil pressure.

lifters can sound real bad without oil pressure...

you may have an oil pressure prob or some top end oil feeding issues...

also im sure the regulator valve is very critical as it has a one way check valve in it if this gets stuck open it wont lock the tensioner in place
