Mum had a little "accident" in my dads EF wagon, and since he has wanted to sell it and buy an EF/EL XR wagon for ages (till i told him just how hard they are to get) he has decided to get an EF XR front for his car (since we have to replace his fron end anyway) what i need is:

EF XR front bumper (with headlight assembly)
Headlights,
indicators,
and the bonnet.

OR and EF XR wreck with these parts intact.

As for a front end that looks good, besides XR, what about the Venom front from SSV?

$620 supply only.

Would be rather unique if u mixed it with the headlights from TwinLight

$650 a pair

Ok now he said for me to try and get a quote on a standard (gli or a fairmont front end) since my uncle said that the price was a ripoff, (just becaus my uncle gets stuff for "free") so anyone got those parts in an EF/EL gli or fairmont?

Well, it is a 'ripoff' - but we all now why - cause they are so hard to get.

But if $1650 was including the bonnet, thats not too bad from a wrecker.

I can't see how the venom front ($620) plus twinlights ($650) is worth it at all when thats already $1270 without the bonnet for aftermarket stuff. I'm sure I have seen XR bumpers for about $500 second hand and the lights for about the same, so why would anyone go for the venom and twinlights when they can get the XR front, probably cheaper?

yeh, my stepdad will beleive what any IDIOT tells him, even more so when i tell him they are wrong (he must love being proved worng by me or something)

im gonna show him the venom front, plus $300 odd dollars fo a normal EF bonnet, and we come in at $1g, (his headlights and indicators are ok) and he may go for that.

Hey Jose

I have the front end off a EF XR6 series 2. The bumper bar and the upper apron. Its original and red.....
The only reason i have lying around is coz i had it changed under insurance coz of the tow truck driver damaging it when he was unloading the car off the back of his truck. the damage is minor and very easy to repair. i insisted that i get a new bar and not get the old one fixed...... as the tow truck driver was at fault, and didnt want this to become something big they just replaced the whole lot, hahahaha.
good for me as i have a new front end.

What do u think is a fair price for the bar and apron??? make an offer and im sure we will work something out.
