09/10/10 UPDATE: I'm still looking for one. It doesn't have to work, just look nice and have intact buttons/knobs.

A bit of an odd request:
I'm after the entire front panel (cover/buttons/knobs/lcd/tapedoor) of a grey EL Mid Series Sound System (the one with both CD and tape buttons) for a project I'm working on.

This means one of two things: buy a working unit and rip the front off of it (kinda expensive and a waste of a working unit); or find someone who has a dead unit they want to offload (hopefully cheaper).

Let me know if any of you can help.
Ideally I'd like to unit face to be in reasonable condition, not look like its been dragged along behind a car like most dead stuff seems to end up like.

The cheaper the better. I'd pay for postage, and since its a dead unit hopefully far less than a new/operational one would cost me.

Got an EF one from my wifes Mont. It actually worked when we got it but I screwed up the code and couldn't getting it working again. If interested, make me an offer...

Cheers
RD

I originally thought the same thing, until I noticed the extra text within the quote.
