Hey mate,

Just some food for thought, i am a welder, and i think your going to be hard on luck finding such a deal, and if you do, it's probably going to be too s**t to do the job.

The only place you'll get close to that price is maybe one of those tool auctions that deal in second hand stuff from closed business.

Good luck mate.

dont go for a gasless, unless u dont mind warpage and spatter everywhere. look for something around 170 amp and run .6 mig wire.

thanks for the advice guys
buy im only looking to stitch panels and do some small welding
not weld beads or do long runs and dont mind getting rid of spatter
ive discussed it with a few welders and im just gonna hit up bunnings tomorrow for a cheapy
im not looking for one that will last forever and dont care what the weld looks like cause im gonna grind it down anyway.

im aware of the whole you get what you pay for thing, but yeah, just doing panel work in my bay
will see how i go tomorrow lol
