my brother picked up a 96 xh ute t5, stage 3 or 4 cam, full exhaust with headers, chipped for $4000 from queensland at the start of the year.

how long is a piece of string?

problem with utes, is there commercial vehicles, Ive found they tend to be either work horses or show ponies (either thrashed or in good condition), not many in between.

Obviously youre gonna pay more for a low km, good condition one, XR's more again etc...
