Hi there,

I need some stuff out of a Fairlane...

1)I require the plug off the cruise control motor plus as much loom as possible, I have one but the clip is broken...
2)The 4 plugs out of the back of the cluster plus as much loom as possible
3)The 4 door ajar switches plus both sides of the plug where they plug into the body loom (if in-separable I will take whole door looms if not too dear, otherwise maybe whole door looms from an ED equivalent model)
4)The fuel flap reed switch and magnet, again with as much loom as possible and both sides of its plug...

Post would be to NSW 2705...

I understand most of these are hard to come by items, if anyone can help me out that'd be great...

Cheers,
Tim

oh s**t...

I searched the for sale threads and found 2 in 10 pages of results with ppl who I was looking for wrecking them... 1 never replied, 1 didn't want to cut off plugs...

Alan,

If you don't mind that'd be great... The wreckers here (well in griffith) over charge for everything and its crap... If you think its cheap go for it and fix you up... Quite an effort on your time to remove all this stuff for me though...

If you don't mind thats great and I owe you one...

1 more thing I forgot in the original post was the grey surrounds for the steering column... The ED ones wont fit the EL column (different mounting points)

Cheers,
Tim

Oh really? How much do you want for those posted to NSW 2705?

It might save alan some hacking around that car...

Cheers,
Tim

Thanks heaps...

The door switches and fuel flap stuff can be used from any other E series equivalent Fairlane or LTD, so that does broaden your options.
Pick N Payless in Blacktown have a DL LTD there currently - door trims are off, so someone in that area might get the door switches and fuel flap stuff. Cluster is still fitted, but butchered.

Pretty much the same - the door switch cases in the NA/DA's could be opened to get to the inside components.
