Hey, after the console bit that clips into the actual console itself, already have to gearshift boot, need the bit that it clips into. is going in a el, but guessing ef/el would be the same. Also need the rubber boot that goes on the floor of the car to keep out road and gearbox noise.. If its not to much trouble!!

Do you mean the piece that plastic ring thats attached in the gearboot or the surround?
Also got the tunnel boot and brace 30ono

yeah the bit that the gear shifter boot clips into, it fills the gap between the radio and the console, usually a different colour of grey..

the bit i have now looks exactly like that but the boot doesn't fit it, i'll take pictures of it tonite.. its a black gear s**t boot? which i assumed was xr6? they don't have different consoles do they?

The boot should just clip in to it. The EL GT has a black gear boot as well. These can be bought new from ford for ~$50. Part GTTVE-7277A

When you say it desn't clip in does it go in at all, as I found I bought the gt gearboot, and frankly it's a f**k woeful fit compared to the grey one.

Yeah I'd be thinking ashcook could have hit the nail on the head as au, as it's sound very much likely.
Well you can get the gt gearboot new from ford if it is. Or I could do 60 on a grey gearboot and the tunnelboot posted?.
