im after a towbar for a EL only the 1600kg as its only for my MTB's

western syd pref

i have 2, checked 1 and its only 1200kg, cant see a stamp on the other 1, will have a closer look tomorrow and get back to you

1200 kg is fine its just for bikes i wasnt sure if the normal one was 1200kg or 1600 so i just wrote 1600 kg

well definatly have 1 then, 1 sitting on a car out back all yours if you want it, you'll have to come remove it, i'm just outside of campbelltown.

Just to let you know, they are different.
it'll probably be a 1200kg, as the ea-ed were 1200kg std 2300kg heavy duty
EF/EL were 1600kg std 2300kg hduty

Also sedan are different to wagon.
But fairlanes are the same as sedans
and be aware there bolted up with t50 torx bolts due to ford's infinite wisdom.

by the way, one point of interest if you went the hayman 2300g version, you can just remove the neck and out she comes complete with bike rack. Just get a decent padlock for the pin.
Also you can acquire longer necks to reduce the chance of wheels hitting boot lid.
Hmm better not talk myself into one, to much of a pia to change for a 4th time.

If it doesn't suit the EL, I have one that is sitting here on a EF Futura, with neck & Ball. Let me know how it goes
