hi
Yeal basically they fit in where Spare tyre is stored in the dome, the one I boaght came off eb station wagon .When U mount it where the spare tyres goes it has to be clamped down boot floor also there is two plates
each screws to the tank to make so gas cannot sip out in case of leak, also fuel lines are run from underneath the car.
New price is about $6oo.oo
To retest a gas tank is between 90- 120 dollars
U can get various sizes to Spare Wheel compartment in my case is 15 inchs 60 liters capacity as U have to leave 20 % for expansion & contraction U have 49 liters useable gas.Take a look this it show a station wagon lpg with Doughnut tank.

Yeal I have a Spare clamp for the doughnut tank to be clamped to the floor, let me know if need it
Also when U convert your car to gas replace your ECU to a Gas Tickford ECU,Ex-taxi are tickford Gas.REason for that is U can have two timing setting one for Petrol and the second timing adjustment will be for gas that avoids backfiring.

Ask Steve dcstraight about Tickford Gas ECU ,I am sure he can help as he know more than I.

Cheers

Wowl they it sold for $335.00 A used dounut tank and needed retesting all up 435 dollars ,a new one is 600.dollars.
Moose man as long as is 15 inch to match diameter of the Spare tyre in Ur Car It doesn't have to come out of ford it can come out of a holden or any other car as long it's 15 inch diameter.
Now it's pretty popular as ford Territry is the only way to fit a tank in the spare wheel Compartment.
I hope that helps
cheers

Wol that's cheap as I was quoted $600.00 for a Sprintgas dounut tank, that's the reason I went for second hand for $160.00
Let us know where U can get it for that price as I want to get one for my wife car tank on the Spare wheel and I think a few mods member are also interested in the dounut tank
cheers

Anyone know if those space saver tires are available to fit e-series? I know they arent safe and all that jazz but if I get a puncture then im going straight to get it fixed anyway so only need the spare for a few km. I just need all the boot space I can get for audio gear.
