Part number you need is 96DT 12A650 AC, cost about $650 from Ford, or around $575 from Conventry. I scored mine for $500 as I knew the dealer and it was "old stock" they wanted to get rid of.

you tried a few of the ford wreckers round greenacre? they sometimes have one come in, I had one guy try and sell me an el auto ecu that had been powerchiped, but these ones stuff up. and some of the guys at greenacre can be a real scam. but might be worth a call if you haven't done so already. there is also a pretty good ford wrecker at tempe, stuffed if I can remember their name though, but they used to have some good gear come in, but not being in that area now, i'm out of touch with their stock.

nah havent really been ont he fone to alot of wreckers ive talked to a few but thats about it but if anyone hears of one let me know

I just got an EF XR6 auto ECU off Unltd8/evassili <evassili@bigpond.net.au> from eBay.com.au. THey said something about an EL XR6 one, not sure if it was manual or auto. Might wanna try em.
