As the title says, Im after performance cams to profile. As there is more to cams than just lift, duration and LSA parameters, Im putting together a database about this information on different brands of cam shafts. I have allready profilled several including std EF,EL (same thing) std AU and AU XR, and AU Dev 3 cams so far. The database is readily available to any one looking into the fine details of certain cams and will benifit all who have an input to my database.

Im focusing on the 4 ltr as its the most popular weapon of choice within the forums and also because there is a saturation within the V8 field, I dont feel the need to do a great deal of research in that area.

Postage is around $10 one way accross the eastern seaboard and cams will be returned in the same condition as they were sent. As I will be doing the vast majority of the work I will not be involved in the postage costs, unless great demand for a certain cam requires me to be. I will also will not be held responsible for any damage that may occur during transit. I have sent several cams throughout the post and not had any problems so far, and all attemps to preserve the cams will be met.

The profiling process is does not involve any damaging practices, and should only require me to have the cam for a day or 2.

Please help me as this will benifit all Ford 4 ltr owners looking to purchase aftermarket cams 8-)

Is no one interested in what the major differences are between all the different cam profiles for the 4ltr. Surely some one has something lying around

Nup only done the std profile in the EF EL range and the AU XR and Std cams. I would love to give this one a go if you could spare it for a day or so. Being in sydney it gives us a chance to meet up and chat too 8-)

trying to decide on a new can for the car will probably be wither a jmm or a crow, you can have it first to profile, than the other cam after it comes out, but turn around time is not looking at the too near future probably 3-6 weeks hopefully no longer, as outlined in the pm I sent ya.

Be sure to get the Hybrid EL stock and XR cams.

Unfortunately I'm currently using mine, until I can get a straight answer from someone who can tell me that they've found a performance cam that works (and improves) the Hybrid I6.
