Aftermarket ones are of lesser quality but when your dealing with a car of this vintage all the geniune ones will be rusted out or be full of bog, my advice if you get an aftermarket one is to put a few welds on the skin to the frame every couple of inches.

early and late XH are different
early ones have 3 holes per tarp clip,
later ones have the late style 'cotton reel ' type clips with only 1 hole each

doesnt matter on most cars but if your building a nice car might look stupid with 2 different types.
