sorry this is not really car related but as the topic suggests, am chasing a YZF 450 muffler, 2003-2005 model, any ideas where i can get one??? thanks in advance...

Try the local Yamaha shops.
The bike shop I was working in fits about 4 aftermarket pipes a day. Most of the factory ones just sit on a shelf, or get given to the owner ofthe new bike if they want them. It would pay to ring a big Yamaha dealership Id give you the number for the one I was in, but its interstate, if your interested let me know though.

yeah that would be great thanks, i have tried the local yamaha shop, and a couple in other towns i have been to... havnt had any luck with one yet, everyone with a YZF i have found had either already sold their pipe or put it on a WR... any idea on how much they sell for??

Try Chris Watson M/C in Cessnock, They have a Fastways account, shouldnt be too much of a drama.
Cost wise, no idea at all, stayed right away from it! Catch Chris on a good day any you might be surpised. Give him a call on 02) 49912566. Probably best to talk to Chris himself, hes kinda hard to catch, but you will usually get a more positive answer dealing with him personally. Hope that helps.
