is your car auto??? whats revs does it sit on at 100kmph with 4:11?

sits at 2300rpm @ 100kph if i can recall

its a good mod, and the car drives alot better which (to me) is more important than how it looks

how short is first gear??? any disadvantages?

how short is 1st gear?....... still not short enough !!!... get about 70kph out of 1st gear

only disadavantage is the tailshaft see's more stress at less speed, for example the tailshaft see's the same revolutions at 141kph with a 4.11 diff, as it did with at 180kph with a 3.23 diff ratio

so unless you plan on upgrading your tailshaft, or fitting a tailshaft loop at least, best off staying under 150kph which should be easy enough lol

Jaycar speedo corrector, but you can get an already built one from shiftkits.com.au

its very easy to wire up, all done at the cluster

oh ok, awsum sounds pretty easy, i m thinking 4:11 are a bit high, i might get 3:7 or 3:9
