hmmmm :? I thought they were FPV Copbra copies??? But they are the style with the black highlights instead of the silver. Anyway, they will be a long way off now I'm jumping through hoops to buy a house. Not sure what position I will be in with future upgrades until the shock of paying off a mortgage settles in. But I hear it's good to have a hobby at home rather than go out :P Could be spending a lot of time in the new garage.
As for the "shaved" look.......who knows, a lot of time at home with no money could mean I'd be tempted to have a go at it myself.....on a second hand set of doors of course
Look forward to seeing what comes of the black dash. A few have suggested it, but I'm yet to be convinced. I do hope you're not planning on spraying the wood dash pieces  I have heaps of spare plastic dash pieces if you want some.

Na hell no, not sprayin the wood lol, too precious for that, i have already chopped it all out, which is punishable by death in some peoples books

Take a look at my thread if you wanna see that boot that got put into the wood.

Ok i admit i'm wrong, they just looked like the FG ones to me, my silly eyes. they look bloody good on the Lane though mate!

Well! Haven't had any updates to report lately and unfortunately there won't be any in the near future  . You see, life goes on and I have finally bitten the bullet and bought my first home, so playing with the toys will be put on hold indefinitely. The house I bought doesn't even have a garage yet, just a double length carport, so the garage will have to come first before any of the major mods I had planned for the lane will take place. Baby steps
So for now as far as the Lane's concerned, I am signing off on the mods department :( ......but I will be back, mark my words!
Will still keep an eye out for any cruises or shows that will be in the area, so I will still be around, just busy with other projects :D
See ya's around!
Cheers,
Mick

Ah yes it reminds me when we bought our place, the wife would walk inside to check the kitchen, i would be in the yard weighing up the garage possibilities - don't worry there is life after home buying, as proven by myself who is playing with the NF whilst putting the ZD bits and pieces together!

Yeah! Thanks fella's. I already have the position for the garage all planned out, but I know what you are saying about the kitchen :? The missus has already started with the old "we can knock this wall out and the dishwasher can go over there".....it's at this stage that it starts to sound more like "bla bla bla" For everyone's sanity, the garage "MUST" come first

Having a quiet night and I was prompted to look at the old build thread. It was missing about half the pages with pictures since the FM upgrade some time back. So I just spent a little time fixing them all up.....pic's make for a better read

Won't be boosting anything for now mate, the NC is going back to the missus while I rebuild the NA and make it a safer daily.

I trust her, it's the f**k in carparks that have no respect for others property that has me more concerned! But I have lost the mojo to do any more to it at the moment, so it may as well be driven

Anyone have a 5.0L E-series wagon, and deep down you've always wanted to cruise around in the comfort of your loungeroom
